The Responsible Development Strategy is focused on inclusive social and economic develop ment. It is assumed that social cohesion is the main driving force of development and a public priority. The strategy subordinates actions in the economic sphere to achieving objectives related to the level and quality of life of Polish citizens. It emphasizes that the beneficiaries of economic development, to a greater extent than so far, are ordinary citizens and areas so far neglected in the development policy. It is assumed that the adoption of such a model will be conducive to the release of human capital, strengthening of social capital and thus optimal use of the development potential of the entire country. Companies and taxpayers play a major role in the development process by increasing their productivity and innovativeness.
